carnegie house

On its cliff-top location, the Carnegie house steps forward and across the fall of the land towards a majestic view of Port Phillip Bay. Three gently descending, linked pavilions connect with the outside through extended low timber decking. Aggregate floors, treated pine walls and canvas ceilings with frameless glass soothe the senses. This dwelling expresses an easy and harmonious relationship with the landscape, insinuating itself quietly into its contours.
