wool stores
deakin university waterfront campus

Our adaptive reuse of a vast area of neglected, brick wool stores transformed Geelong’s waterfront on Corio Bay. Our creative approach to this extensive conversion, involving many buildings and structures, led to it being awarded Australia’s most outstanding work of recycled architecture. The heritage campus houses the School of Architecture and Building, a library, student services, cafe and IT, as well as the much-acclaimed Costa Hall concert space.
