The 450-seat auditorium is an intimate and elegant handcrafted space, optimising acoustics and integrating contemporary theatre technologies. An extension of the Founders Building, it replaces an undersized theatre. Innovative planning harmonises the new building with its surrounds, strengthening the framing of the central courtyard. The foyer takes advantage of the northern aspect, inviting the courtyard in and creating comfortable spaces for varied uses.
